Here I am as a high school senior in 1960 – flat top and all. This is my official Shawnee Mission (Kansas) North High School picture. Do not be looking for it in the 1960 yearbook, however. When they took my picture, they somehow got my pictures switched with the guy whose pictures were taken right before me (not alphabetically) and so his picture appears over my name. Do not look for my picture over his name, however. It was my first and last year at the school and no one knew me very well, so they probably knew him and fixed his picture, but not mine.
