HIGHWAY INSPECTORS, SPRING, 2000

Parker & Zeppelin inspect 150 Highway
This picture was taken in the spring of 2000 and was taken on the roadbed of the new Missouri 150 Highway. Zeppelin and Parker accompanied me when I went up there to photograph the construction. It was taken in the area between where I live and the bridge over the Blue River and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. In the background, you can see the trees that are starting to leaf out. I despise the highway because of its noise, the danger it presents to my dogs in case they get out of their fence and the loss of habitat for nature. But, the people driving along the highway when the trees are green do get a magnificent view looking over trees for miles.
