I have found that the best thing dogs do, after giving constant and unconditional love, is sleep. Here Zeppelin is doing very well at sleeping on his rug. He does not know it, but the rug has been the sleeping pad for several dogs in the past. It is his now, however! For me, to see him sleeping so peaceful is very satisfying. If it were not for the fact that dogs only live 10 to 15 years and often do not get very good care givers, I sometimes wish I could trade places with him!!!
